Feedback Requested: Standards of Practice for LPNs on Continuing Competence
The College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA) is seeking feedback on proposed updates to the Standards of Practice for LPNs on Continuing Competence.
Updates include:
- Aligning the language with the Standards of Practice for HCAs on Continuing Competence.
- Aligning the standard with current legislation.
- Clarifying the meaning of sole practice and updating its definition.
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and other interested parties are invited to provide feedback by July 28, 2026.
