Webinar: Duty to Report (Nov. 17)
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) encounter a wide range of situations in their practice. These situations may involve a professional and legal duty to report information to specific authorities or designated individuals as part of the healthcare team. An LPN’s legal duty to report may be required by legislation, professional expectations, or employer requirements. Some examples of information that must be reported include breaches of health information, communicable and notifiable diseases, immunizations, and abuse.
This webinar provides LPNs with:
- Knowledge of what needs to be reported and to whom.
- Awareness of legal obligations related to the Duty to Report.
- Awareness of CLHA documents related to the Duty to Report.
The webinar includes a LIVE Q&A with a representative from the CLHA’s Professional Practice department.
